Countryside Challenge/Dressage Training Day

Date: 17/02/20 (Monday)
Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Epsom RDA
Details:

Sue Mack will lead the Countryside Challenge training in the morning, with registration at 9:30am for a 10:00am start. Sue will start with classroom based training and then we will head out to Epsom’s Countryside Challenge course. There will be demonstrations with three riders, one led, one led with sidewalker and one unled. This is a great opportunity to find out more about Countryside Challenge and how you can incorporate it into your Group sessions and to get some tips on participating in the Regional Countryside Challenge, both the qualifier and the non-qualifier.

After lunch (please bring your own packed lunch), Maryanne Horn, a dressage judge who has judged at our Regional dressage day at Hickstead, will lead discussion and training on riding RDA dressage tests. We will demonstrate with tests from our 2020 Regional event and will include both led and unled tests. Get tips on how to help your participants ride their best tests and what the judge is looking for.

Cost is £10 payable on the day. Coffee, tea and biscuits provided, but please bring your own mug. Don’t forget your packed lunch!

Contact Jenna Leight at jennaleight1@gmail.com to register. The deadline for registration is 10 February and places are limited.
