Pre-Coach Training Session

Pre- Coach Training Day

Once a volunteer has completed each of the four training modules and they would like to go on to become a coach, they will need to attend a Pre-Coach Training Day. These are training days set up by a County or Regional Coach, which give a prospective coach an introduction to learning styles, development plans, health and safety – including risk assessments, session planning and of course coaching.

If a group is big enough and there are a few volunteers that would like to do a pre-coach session within a group, this can be organised in liaison with the County or Regional Coach.

Dates for all training days can be found on the Coaching Events page (a subheading in the green banner on the left, under Coaching). Or check your regional website if nothing is listed here.

On the right are downloads and resources for training day organisers.
