The Unicorn Centre in Middlesbrough opened in 1998 as a purpose built riding Centre and member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association, with aims to enrich the lives and experiences for disabled children and adults.
This new post will take a leadership role and join a small and committed team.
You will find new opportunities to grow the Centre’s work and manage the infrastructure which underpins our activities. Working closely with Trustees, the new Equine Operations Manager and other staff and volunteers, you will help shape the future of the Centre and ensure its continuing success.
You will
- Identify new opportunities for the Centre
- Lead on the Centre’s fundraising and grant application activities
- Lead on the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations of the Centre
- Lead on the Centre’s work to promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity
- Lead on the Centre’s volunteer programme
- Manage the Centre’s finances.
- Manage staffing procedures
- Manage the Centre’s facilities
- Lead on Health and Safety matters
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the Centre’s operation

Salary £30,160 (pro rata)
